The Philips Hue Runner lamps are designed to be mounted by an electrician, with the power-cord running inside your house's walls. If you for some reason want to have your power-cords outside the wall, you can use this part to give yourself a hole to run the power-cable through.

Designed for the runner lamp in the picture. Mounts to the wall using the same screws and holes as the lamp.
