This artwork was created as a heartfelt tribute to a dear friend on the occasion of his 50th birthday. It’s a piece that blends technique, intuition, and deep symbolic meaning. However, the final result is a complete reinvention: every element has been reshaped, transformed, and reimagined into something unique and personal. The composition depicts a phoenix tearing through the nets that trap it, caught in a moment of tension, resistance, and release. As a timeless symbol of rebirth, the phoenix here represents the struggle we all face to break free from the constraints that bind us and to rise again — stronger, wiser, and brighter.
