Phoenix Hand Finger redesign

This is a redesigned finger for use in the Phoenix Prosthetic Hand. It is based on the Knick's Prosthetic Finger v3.5.5 design, but has been modified to replace the need for an elastic cord with a set of dental bands, and to allow use within the Phoenix Hand design. The main advantage of this design is use of an additional knuckle when compared to the existing Phoenix Fingers, allowing a tighter grip.

The Bumper and covers are printed with a flexible material, while the remaining components are rigid. The two materials used to complete the prototypes were Ninjaflex and PLA.
