This is a phone holder to be mounted on typical aluminium construction profiles (used for simrigs for example).There is a balljoint on the back so it is adjustable. The mechanism does not spring back so to take off the phone you just have to lift it upwards. Pay attention to the gear mounting photo, as the gears have to be pressed in the bearings and are difficult to take out.If you mount them as shown in the picture, the arm and the middle rail cannot slip out anymore.I pressed the bearings in the main body first, assembled the arms and the middle rail as shown and pressed the gears in last.This model was made for an F1 enthusiast, but I'll attach the STEP files in case you want to modify it :)Enjoy!Bearings used:2x Ballbearing 605-2RS (ID=5mm ;OD=14mm ; W=5mm)EDIT:I adapted the main body to fit two spiral springs, so that it opens back up when taking your phone.
