Photogrammetry Specimen Stand / Small Object Holder

This is the specimen stand that I designed and used for my photogrammetry project scanning different kind of nuts. There is space at the top of the piece to glue a sewing pin, which the objects can be pushed against. I've also included a hexagonal dice that can be used with some software to better process images into 3D files. The base is designed with a 90 degree corner roughly marking the centre of the stand. This can help with aligning the stand on a turn table so the object doesn't track out of shot. I used what filament I had but after more research using black filament is best as this absorbs reflective light more.
