PhotonSpacer

The Photon photo resin printer from Anycubic is great, but has a small, but very bad quirk. It's hard to believe Anycubic hasn't addressed this. Basically, the build plate will often not go all the way down to the zero position because it hits the vat with fractions of a millimeter to go. I have several new Photons and all but one were having the "not sticking to build plate" problem. The answer was to put a spacer between the build plate and the build plate holder. You have to remove the four screws, add the spacer, then screw the build plate on again. Some people have used washers as the spacers. I 3D printed (on my FDM) a 1.8 mm thick plate using PETG. Once you install, re-level and you're good to go. Would love to know how it goes for you.
