This is an enclosure/case/box for the Pico/2 Computer published in Silicon Chip magazine April 2025 issue. The Pico/2 Computer is a complete computer based on a Raspberry Pi Pico 2 (RP2350A). It boots to a built in BASIC interpreter and editor, just like the early Personal/Home Computers of the 1980's.
After acquiring the mostly-assembled official kit and soldering the Pico 2 onto the main PCB, I looked at the recommended case (Multicomp MCRM2015S) from the recommended supplier. With freight they wanted over AU$40 ! Then you still have to cut out the connector openings.
That was enough of an excuse for me to spend a Saturday evening with my favourite 3D design tool and Bambu P1S printer.
This case is designed to house the official kit PCB. It includes PCB standoffs and a snap-on lid with custom inlaid text labels for the Pico/2. It of course has all the openings for the connectors. The PCB standoffs include holes to fit the screws provided with the kit (M3x6mm pan head machine screw
