Use a 1/8" kerf blade to make a grove within the rabbit of the frame. Leave about 1/8 to 9/64, or more of wood on the back of the frame.
The clip can be used in two directions. The thicker part can be facing into the frame to toward the wall. This allows for additional flexibility in different thicknesses of glass, backing, and display materials such a photos or artwork. If you are able to use the thicker side pointing toward the frame, then you may have the option to archive photos and or artwork. Then when the glass, backing, and archived work are too thick, simply flip the clip so that the thicker side is facing the wall.
Let me know if you have any questions or would like a video showing this is detail.
Cura profile included, if you like.
Filament: TPU ( I used 95A )
infill: 30%
Printer: Ender 3
Support: no (be sure to print on its side)
