Pikmin Onion Flying Model Rocket

My grandson, upon seeing my line of Sputnik model rockets, declared that they look like Pikmin Onions and that I should make an onion rocket. So I did.

I took 3DTwinkie's design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6238395) and enlarged it to fit a 70mm long 24mm motor. I use carbon fiber tubes for the legs (both 8mm and 6mm versions available) and created my own parachutes that are about 28" in diameter.

The "Pikminauts" that fly in each onion are from this printable link (https://www.printables.com/en/model/548601-3-pikmin-characters) where I enlarged them to suit and added the "pancake" to the top of their stems so that streamers could be attached.

To build these rockets you will need 70mm of BT-50 body tube for the motor tubes, and three pieces of either 8mm or 6mm carbon fiber tubing (I used old arrow shafts). Each piece of carbon fiber tube should be 33cm long. Trim them all to the same length.
