Pill Bottle Wrench

Every now and then you get a prescription bottle with an extra stiff cap. The motivation for this design was a prescription bottle cap so tight that I had to use a set of diagonal cutting pliers to get it open. Now, if you’re looking at this object to print on your 3D printer you probably don’t need to open many prescription bottles. But, your grandmother may appreciate this tool.

There are two sizes, one for the smaller bottle caps and one for the medium size prescription bottles. The notch in the bottom is intended to fit against the counter-top/vanity-top so you can use both hands on the prescription bottle to push and turn. Or, you can use the two hand approach with the wrench in one hand and the bottle in the other (push together and turn). There’s even a couple screw holes for permanent mounting if desired.
