This is a DIY mod for the Pimax 5k and 8k series inspired by the Pimax "Comfort Kit". It spreads the weight of the headset over a larger forehead area to make it more comfortable.
Thanks to [krazycanuck2011](https://www.thingiverse.com/krazycanuck2011/designs) for suggesting this and for testing the design.
There are two versions: *normal* and *narrow face*.
You will need to make a larger foam gasket for it than the pimax comes with.
I used a sheet of memory foam cut to size and glued it to the comfort mod.
The memory foam I used is 1", but not very dense so it compresses easily.
A thinner foam might work better depending on the type of foam you get.
Another option would be to just use the original Pimax foam and add another foam strip to the forehead area. There are lots of cheap 3rd party VR face gaskets available on Amazon that could be cut to fit for that purpose.
I used a strip of adhesive Velcro at the left and right edge of the mod to stick it to the headset.
