Pinball cabinet backbox hinge

This is a virtual pinball backbox hinge – mainly intended for aesthetic purposes rather than as a functional load-bearing hinge. It gives your build that authentic pinball cabinet look without requiring actual heavy-duty hardware.

⚠️ Note: This model is recommended only for decorative use, unless you print it in a material with strength comparable to metal.

You can just barely fit this to 200x200mm bed. For the other side, simply print this model mirrored.

Layer Height: 0.2 mm

Infill: 15% (if you are really going to use this as real hinge, you might want to use higher setting)

Supports: Nope

Material Recommendation: PLA for aesthetics, stronger filaments (PETG, ABS, Nylon, CF blends) if you want actual strength

I wanted the backbox of my virtual pinball cabinet to have a realistic hinge look without investing in heavy metal parts. This design gives the appearance of a proper backbox hinge, while keeping it simple and 3D-printable.
