My friend is using a 90mm PVC tube to carry his D&D playing mat.
I have created these end caps that go onto the end of the tubing to allow him to seal both ends, and using screws/ M3 hardware with inserts, or even just a dowel.
The OD is 90mm, fitting a PVC tube of ID 87mm and there are 8 external holes at 2.5mm each and the corresponding holes internally are a little larger to allow M3 inserts at 3mm.
It could be scaled to fit other pipes but i haven't tried that. I have ran the meshmixer inspector over the STL and it looks all g.
You can print this using any material i expect, and at very low quality (i used 0.4mm layer height) but keep the infill above 20% for best structural results. Extra perimeters sides, top and bottom will help too. (5 or more)
Enjoy, and comment below if you liked my design :)
