I needed something to cut strips of bread dough, for bread-sticks, and saw this "pizza cutter" at Walmart, priced at 88 cents. How can you pass that up...
Of course, the razor-sharp blade was all wobbly, so I removed the rivet, cleaned it up and straightened everything out. No more wobble. Just needed a protective guard.
This guard has a deep, thin, inaccessible cavity. Print it as oriented, vertically, and there's no internal support. Use fan cooling so nothing overheats.
The rivet's head acts to secure the guard.
Blade has a 70mm diameter.
Used 20 grams ABS, 60 minute print, on an Afinia H479. .30mm layers, medium speed, with a raft.
A Metric file is provided in case your software doesn't speak Inch.
