Pizza Cutting Board

For this project, I took a plain wooden cutting board from IKEA — the kind everyone has somewhere in their kitchen — and decided to give it a fun new life. Instead of using it just for chopping, I turned it into a pizza‑themed serving board by engraving a big pizza circle right in the center. The circle is divided into eight slices, just like a real pizza. Inside each slice, I engraved a small drawing of a different topping: pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, peppers… all the classics. The idea was to make something that’s both useful and playful, something that makes people smile before they even take a bite. The best part is that even though I used an IKEA board, you can engrave this design on any wooden cutting board. Big, small, round, square — it works on all of them. The engraving adds personality without making the board too “serious”.
