This PLA oiler project was initiated as an exercise to improve my very limited Solid Works skills and as a very functional and practical accessory for my RoBo 3D printer.
It prints very well in PLA after being sliced with the Cura Engine at 25% infill and no support structure.
The oil storage / application medium is simply piece of foam or a cotton-ball. I use 100% Canola oil for lubrication.
The backside was designed with a tiny internal ridge and therefore remains open while retaining the inserted medium to facilitate easy re-oiling with just a couple drops when need.
BTW this happens to be my very first Thingiverse submission ....Enjoy!
