Planetary Gearbox 4:1 reduction

I designed and built this planetary gearbox for my robot arm project. After exploring several gearbox designs, I selected one that best matched my requirements. Each gearbox provides a 4:1 reduction ratio. In the configuration shown, two gearboxes are stacked to achieve an 8:1 reduction. The design is modular, allowing multiple gearboxes to be combined to reach higher gear reductions depending on the application.
