Designed and assembled a fully integrated Planetary Gearbox System in SolidWorks, focusing on compact power transmission, torque multiplication, and precise gear synchronization used in high-performance mechanical and automotive applications. The assembly replicates the working principle of industrial epicyclic gear trains, where multiple planet gears rotate simultaneously around a central sun gear within an internally meshed ring gear. Technical Scope of the Project • Designed complete epicyclic gear train architecture. • Developed a compact gearbox casing with integrated fastening and shaft support features. • Implemented accurate gear meshing relationships and rotational constraints within the assembly. • Created an exploded assembly structure for manufacturing and component-level visualization. • Prepared the model for motion-study and kinematic analysis applications.
