This is a bigger and much more detailed/accurate version of the 3D printed spitfire project I made a while ago. This is as close as I could make it to the game model with a few changes made for the sake of easier 3D printing.
It is designed to use a 5mm LED in series with an appropriate resistor (I used 100 ohms with a blue LED), an SG51-sized servo, and a small microcontroller to run it (I used a XIAO SAMD21 due to its small size). Print settings for most of it aren't super critical; just use appropriate settings for some of the tight detail spots. However, the "Spitfire_Light.3mf" file should be printed out of clear PETG with 3D honeycomb infill to help diffuse the light and avoid having a single hotspot where the LED is. See image for electronics layout. The servo shaft press fits into the tripod shaft.
It fastens together with friction (there are 3 optional peg holes in the body as well) but glue is advised for more permanent builds. It will also obviously look much better painte
