Geometric 1.2 cm high platform 19 cm diameter for putting plants on so you do not get ring spots where the plant was sitting. (Or at least get smaller ring spots. ) We had a commercial one which broke (4th picture) so I designed this one which is much stronger. If your PLA cost you $16/kg then this one will cost about $1.60 to make it (at 20% fill setting). My print took 10 hours 0.2mm layer thickness.

I think that the geometric design looks quite pretty but this unfortunately gets completely covered up by the potting plant sitting on top of it.

The OpenScad file can be modified for lesser density if you wish. It is a very short file which can make a fairly complicated design.

I use it for a 10inch potting plant which is 6 inches in diameter at the bottom. I needed two of these last weekend and could quite easily print them in 24 hours.
