My wife was looking for a better support for her plants indoors and in the garden so that stems will be more likely to grow straight upward. I came across a six-arm plant stem holder on Thingiverse, but even with a larger size, it still didn't meet her needs. With so many edits, it was easier to start from scratch. A center hole was added (14mm) to use a support rod without taking up an arm. To allow for this, the center circle needed to be enlarged slightly. The arcs on the arms of the original were too curved in, meaning only very small stems could be slipped in easily. This new version has larger openings. Lastly the original fillet from the center circle to the arms was nice-looking, but gave slightly reduced flexibility of the arms while using more filament. It was reduced here. Chamfers were added to reduce digging into any plants. We are using the 5 arm version, but you will find 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 arm versions. Recommended settings: PETG or other UV and weather-resistant filament is recommended. For indoor plants, PLA should work 0.20-0.28mm layer height 3 walls/shells 10-12% gyroid infill No brim should be needed for this as there is adequate bed contact The photo shows the 5 arm version printed with Prusament Urban Grey PETG
