Plastic container cap wrench

For people with limited grip in their hands it can sometimes be very difficult to open the plastic cap on some containers, especially when they are new and have a serrated anti tamper/anti loosening ring. This one is designed to fit the common sized plastic cap found on many of the containers used in the house and garage. They typically range in capacities from 1 to 5 litres. There are 16 teeth around the periphery (though the wrench only has 8) and the maximum distance between the outside flats on the teeth is about 40.83mm. The teeth extend for about 10mm down the sides of the cap. There is a slight taper between the top and bottom of the teeth to give it a better chance of gripping a variety of containers. Because of this the wrench must be set in place with the wider end first and slid down the cap until it engages. The top surface of the wrench is marked with an open/close text engraved.
