I am impressed by the elegant, clean design of Tanya Akinora's Flower Pot (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2853889). I like that you can print the model in different colors for the same construct. Using a simple plastic cup as a planter is nothing new but making it so attractive allows this model to be used anywhere in the home without detracting from the decor.
That said, I couldn't help but tinker. My version is designed from the ground up in OpenSCAD. I have eliminated the need for the vertical supports by placing feet on each layer and recesses for the feet on the top of each layer except the top piece.
The model uploaded is designed around a 16 oz. Solo Cup. The opening is 92 mm in diameter and the model should stack to just under 107 mm tall. You should print one each of the top and bottom layers as well as five of the middle layer. There are four patterns: plain, Diamonds, Grid and Sun Burst. You can mix and match the patterns on the layers if you like.
