Plastic Welding Rod Holder – Free STL
This is a compact, shop-friendly holder for plastic welding rods, designed for collision repair, bumper work, and general plastic welding tasks.
The holder keeps rods organized, clean, and easy to grab at the bench or cart. Internal dividers separate rod types so you’re not digging through a pile mid-repair.
Features
Two-piece threaded design (top + bottom)
Internal segmented channels for rod organization
Knurled lower grip for easy handling with gloves
Stable base – won’t tip easily on the bench
Sized for common plastic welding rods (PP, TPO, ABS, etc.)
Printing Notes
Both parts print flat on the build plate
No supports required
PLA prints fine; PETG or ABS recommended for shop heat resistance
Standard layer heights work well (0.2–0.28 mm)
Assembly
Screws together using the printed threads
No glue or hardware required
Threads are designed to snug up by hand
