Platform Bird Feeder

In my yard, the platform style bird feeder is the most popular feeder and gets the most visits by far. I have to refill it every day. My old wooden one needs to be replaced, so I decided to design a 3D printed version. Print one for yourself and your birds will be happy! The model prints in one piece and has painted brims to help with adhesion. The screen has 3mm holes and should be fine for general bird seed mixes. If there is interest, I'll also make one with a smaller 2mm hole. I used 5 or 6 feet (2 Meters) of “#36 Mason Nylon String Line” to hang my feeder. The knots are very easy and the knot used is an “Anchor Bend” or “Fisherman's Hitch”. It is easy even to tie with synthetic string.
