Playing Card Holder

A magnetic playing card holder that also functions as a draw and discard pile. Great for carrying cards while traveling. This card holder use magnets to keep the case closed. When opened the magnets also function to hold the two elements together so that they can be used to hold the draw and discard piles. The magnets can also be used to attach the cases to any ferrous metal objects. This case is great for an airplane or in a car where the piles can tend to slide all over the place. The magnets should be inserted in reverse polarity with the left and right sides inserted in opposite directions. It is counter intuitive, but the reverse polarity creates a pleasant “snap” when closing. This design uses 8x rare earth magnets that are 8mm x 2.7mm. The magnets are press fit into the holes. Use a flat object where you can apply some force to insert the magnets. For added security you may add some glue. Be sure to clean any oils from the magnets.
