This playmat tube is designed for the standard size 13.5 x 24 in playmats like those made by Ultra Pro. Several thousand of these are out in the wild already from being posted elsewhere. Any filament works with each having their pros and cons. Silk PLA often looks the best, PETG is great for a little more heat resistance and a buttery smooth threading, and regular pla for just a great simple tube. Printing one at a time in different colors or adding pauses to change colors can make really unique models.
