Dice tower based on plinko-style randomization and bottom exit.
I used the golden-ratio pattern to maximize the probability of dice impacts, the same way plants use it to maximize sunlight hitting their leaves. The posts pull the dice toward the center, increasing the number of collisions. A deflector at the bottom spreads the dice out reducing the chances of stacked dice.
I created this dice tower because I wanted one that puts the dice directly below it on the table. That way the dice don't go all over. You don't need a tray and they always land where you want them. This is great for games like dice masters, where rogue dice can be problematic and you have a specific location where you want them to end up. You pick up the dice tower to see what your roll is.
Another reason I wanted bottom exit is to resolve an argument I have with my wife. She rolls one dice at a time. When a follow-up dice changes the face of the first dice, was her roll the original one or the c
