Pneumatic Powered Swing Machine

Web controlled swinging machine used to bash piñatas. Pneumatic powered rack & pinion used to rotate/swing an arm at various energies. Depending on the amount of rotational inertia needed, the system can operate using a single action cylinder with spring return (modeled) or a double acting cylinder with Reed switch timing for end of stroke braking. Swing plane angles are altered by pivoting the entire assembly on the central shaft via an electric linear actuator.
