Pneumatic Shear Machine

The goal was to reverse engineer a machine capable of cutting aluminum sheets up to 0.2mm, steel sheets up to 0.1mm, and textile sheets up to 0.5mm with both speed and reliability. This was executed using two Camozzi pneumatic cylinders delivering over 1500N of force, connected with self-aligned joints to reduce wear on the linear guides. A 50HRC steel blade, angled at 2.5 degrees, ensured precision and durability. The project, designed and modeled in Autodesk Inventor, was completed with detailed technical documentation to guarantee accuracy and reproducibility in future implementations.
