Pocket Book Cover

A plastic cover for a more durable homemade pocket notebook with the added benefit of a hard surface for writing while standing than typical paper cover versions. It's slightly smaller than field notes at 5.25 x 3.25" when closed with 10 mm radius corners. The 5mm wide hinge allows for up to 25 sheets of 90 gs/m paper, provided you have a stapler than can staple through that many sheets+the plastic cover. A standard 20 sheet stapler will do 15 sheets+plastic, giving you 60 total pages. Highly recommend PETG or similar plastic, PLA will likely be too brittle, but I haven't tested it. Print at a 45 degree angle so layer lines are perpendicular to the fold axis to prevent separation at the hinge. If it doesn't want to remain semi-closed after sitting under a weight for 24 hours, using a lighter to very quickly warm the hinge will allow it to sit flatter. Be careful as you can easily melt through the single layer hinge.
