This model, inspired by research on kinematic couplings, lets you carry high precision couplings in your pocket!


During Professor Alexander Slocum’s [visit to our lab](https://www.linkedin.com/posts/byu-cmr-compliant-mechanisms-and-robotics-group-68004216a_prof-alexander-slocums-visit-to-byu-mit-activity-7391581375629451264-_0fq/?rcm=ACoAACg6dUAB1ODJOZw8Mow4aGwpI8eHNAVki6g), we presented a pocket-sized, modular kinematic coupling kit that enables anyone to build and test coupling designs within seconds. It was inspired by one of his models shown in his online lectures. It can be used for classroom demonstrations, machine design, or desktop fidgeting.


###Print Instructions
When printing the coupling pieces (the array of small units), print them with a skirt big enough to join together into a solid sheet. This greatly reduces the risk of a piece breaking from the build plate and helps with taking all the little pieces off.
