Poisoned Token - The Eightpints

Poison isn't the same as a sword cut. A wound is honest; poison is slow and cheating. It means something dark - a Mire Stalker’s venom, or a Foxglove alchemist’s compound - is working its way through your system. It’s not the damage that gets you; it’s the lingering sickness that chips away at your ability to focus and fight. The cost is persistent, and the debt isn't settled with a bandage. You need a dedicated cure, or the poison will continue to steal your strength until your last breath. You can't outrun a sickness you're already carrying.
