If you buy shepherd's hooks ([example](https://www.homedepot.com/b/Outdoors-Garden-Center-Outdoor-Decor-Shepherds-Hooks/N-5yc1vZbx6t)) for bird feeding, squirrels might come to steal the seeds for little birds. This clamp can be attached to such a pole (if too loose, add some paper or plastic sheets for tighter clamp). It provides a stable foundation for large plastic boxes (e.g. for cakes or veges) and stops squirrels climbing up.
