“Polska Walcząca” SymbolPolska Walcząca translates to “Fighting Poland”, which combined letters P and W looking similar to an anchor, often being called so.It was used during World War 2 in Occupied Poland (General Governorate) as a symbol of fight against the germans. It was also commonly used during warsaw uprising as a symbol of resistance by Home Army (Armia Krajowa) and Polish Underground State. Nowdays the symbol is used as a Patriotic sign and a Memorial to those who died during 1939-1945 period.
