we bought a house with a pool and the hoses had holes in them, so I went out and bought a new hose but it was too big for our skimmer box. this is a male to male adapter so the new hose fits over the top and the bottom fits in the intake of the skimmer box. the first taper is 38.4mm-40.5mm and the second taper is 37mm-39.9mm.
