It gets hard to remove skimmer cover when it's dry and it gets larger due to hot weather. This tool helps without hurting your fingers. You can add supports if you want for aesthetic purpose but it works fine without it. note: when 2 arrows don't touch the bottom of the cover, 1 can break, try to pull with 90deg so 2both of them touch.
