The Poor Man's SmallRig uses the principle of leverage to provide passive video stabilization. This concept works especially well in the case of small, light cameras and shaky hands.

By increasing the distance between the hands, the shakes are felt less dramatically where the camera is situated.

The design is made to take 5/16" nuts, bolts, and threaded rods, except for the central camera mount, for which both Canon and Sony use a 1/4" standard mount.

1/4" nuts and bolts: https://amzn.to/3EZ0Cji
I use PLA+ for load-bearing parts to ensure durability: https://amzn.to/45sYv2h

Additionally, consider using Cura's support blocker tool to ensure that there are a lot of walls (3mm would be good) on the bottom where the nuts and bolts tighten together. If there aren't enough walls, they won't be able to take the force and the part will crack under the stress.
