Every November we Canadians (and residents of other Commonwealth countries) wear a red poppy leading up to Remembrance Day, November 11. When we buy a poppy, and wear it around, we feel good about remembering those who served honourably in our military. But there are two poppy-wearin' problems:
- The poppies fall off really easily
- The pin can sometimes poke you painfully
3D printing comes to the rescue!
I've designed a tiny little poppy-shaped end for your pin to both hold it in place, and protect you from spearing a valued body part. It'll use about a gram of filament. :)
I've only printed it in white PLA - but would love to see it in another colour - red anyone?
Features and Options:
- Other printing options
- match the filament to your jacket or shirt colour to downplay the pin cap.
- use a bright colour to emphasize it
- the centre bit is slightly higher. If you can time it right, you could print in red, then pause and SWAP FILAMENT to blac
