I have a portable air-conditioner unit which makes quite a bit of noise. They are also quite inefficient since they suck previously cooled air and blow it outside to cool the unit. I therefore opted to have the portable AC unit outside and couple the cold air into the building.
This design couples the cold air output into a 100 mm (4 inch) pipe. Feel free to chop it about to make it fit your AC unit.
The design isn't amazing. But is good enough.
If you print the two halves, there is a small lip on one side to help seal the join. I used superglue along the lip and clamped the two parts together.
I held it to the unit with some large elastic bands, but I made holes for small M3 self-tapping screws if required. Double-sided tape would also work.
