Portable Door Lock (Adjustable)

3D-printable home security has arrived! Print your own portable door lock for keeping pesky criminals, annoying kids, or other unwanted persons out of your room. The design is very similar to existing portable door locks that you can buy most places and grabs onto the door strike plate and secures using a wing nut. The lock is available in both adjustable and non-adjustable versions. The non-adjustable will only work with doors that are flush with the frame and the adjustable should work in most scenarios. The lock works surprisingly well from my testing but due to the limitations of plastic, it's unlikely to keep very persistent individuals out. In other words, the FBI will still be able to ram your door down. ;-) Printing tips: Printing is relatively straight-forward with the exception of the “grabber” part which needs to be printed on its side with supports for the best strength. Everything else can be printed in the default model orientation without supports. Just make sure to have good bed adhesion.    Be sure to post your makes!
