I have this Reprap Prusa i3 for 2 years now and I am very happy with it. I bought it as a DIY kit for 300 euro and as low-cost printer works like a charm. It has an acrylic frame, aluminium bed and very stable and strong head. These days you can buy it on eBay for less than 200 euro. A word of advice: do not buy a model with the acrylic bed. It cannot withstand ABS high bed temperature.
Since I haven't had "a dedicated" place for the 3D printer, I needed a very simple solution to move it from one room to another. One way to do it is to put it on 50cm x 50cm stand and add handles at sides :), lol
Some 3D models you may use out of the box, some you will have to modify to fit your needs. The models are also available as 3Ds max open files.
All models use M3 bolts. All legs at the bottom of the stand must have the M3 nut. The M3 nut fits into leg perfectly, but just to be on the safe side you may use a superglue to keep it in place.
