Summary For my third from-scratch lightbox I used a slightly different variation in the process as compared to my Longcat lightbox, making the base the thick part and the face the thin part. I did this so I could use different lighting methods (such as embedding controllers and such in the base, using LED modules instead of strips, etc). This one uses the same 5521 DC jack hole though since I still had more COB strip scraps to use up (details on that in the longcat model). Another improvement in the process is putting a filet on sharp internal angles so the strip can better wrap around the interior. “top.3mf” and “base.3mf” are just object models, where “cake-light.3mf” is an export from Bambu Studio 1.7x with all my process settings. The priming tower is not necessary for the base but should be enabled for the face of the sign. Hangs on a common thumbtack with no issues. PLEASE NOTE: The first plate, for the base, should have the prime tower turned off to save time and material. It's
