Poster Holder / Hanger

These are holders / hangers for posters designed to prevent damage (punch holes) to the poster. Ideal not only for movie poster but also for family, souvenir, event, sport, action, or any other photos you want to keep intact.

It uses 5/16" OD (3/16" ID) clear vinyl tubing (for aquarium airline or domestic usage, usually available at any hardware store or Amazon/Ebay...). The vinyl stays soft and sticky for years, making it ideal for this application.

I made three versions: one for drywall screws, one for push pins, and one for double-sided tape. These three versions are available in two dimensions (based on double sided tape witdh availability where I live) :
- Large width = 29.4mm (imperial size), which is 1 inch (25.4mm) double-sided tape + 2mm per side
- Small width = 24mm (metric size), which is 20mm double-sided tape + 2mm per side

To mount a poster, simply insert a vinyl tube (cut to the same length as the holder) into the holder, fix the holder to the wall, slide the poster
