This is a remix of the Pottery base tool by Yathani. This print was too large for my A1 minit, so I split it in half and used a dovetail cut to make sure it was a snug enough fit for the requirement of the tool. This tool is used to help shape pottery. Personally, this helps my partner do more pottery, it allows them to not strain their hands when working on large pieces. As soon as I heard that I knew I wanted to figure out how to print this for her on my small printer! I split this with a .2mm gap for the dovetail. This ended up being a very tight fit and I used a rubber mallet to convince the two pieces to come together. I printed this in PLA. I have seen advice to slightly warm the print back up to do the dovetail fitting, but the only thing I had to do that was causing the part to deform too much, so I just went with the straight mallet method after testing different gaps. a .3mm gap will need to be glue from my test fittings.
