It's a simple hook that attaches to most power cords (7mm) and lets you hook the plug onto something when not in use. I used M3x16 screws to clamp the two pieces together. In my workshop, I have a single power outlet hanging from the ceiling, which I use to power various tools like my heat gun and table saw. Since these tools are free-floating, I plug them in as needed. This setup works well because I prefer to keep saws unplugged when not in use for safety. However, it creates a new problem—where do I put the plug when it's not in use? I usually drape the cord over the saw, but because it's black, it often blends in and gets lost. Sometimes it falls to the floor, where it gets stepped on and damaged—something I want to avoid. My solution is to attach a hook to the end of the power plug.
