I made a countersun Powertune digital dash bezel. It has a lip to be surface mounted and the screen be slightly protected should something slide down the face.
The bolt holes might be off slightly but are close enough for you to finish.
Plan to use a fairly high temp filament as the sun gets hot and you dont want this to sag
