Update 2024-01-13:
- adjusted tolerances
- added hole through CPU-to-PIR ball mount for hidden wires
- changed ball clamping mechanism to now use screws (works even with bad prints)
------
Warning: this is a work in progress. Some features might change.
After buying generic PIR modules, some other sensors and barebone ESP8266 ESP-12 Chips, I needed a case to mount these on a wall.
The idea is to expand it to be a combination of PIR, reed, TOF and maybe other sensors once it's done. But even with only the motion sensor, I figured it would be useful to some of you, and thought I should share it already.
Files print well with PETG, supports only from the bed, the PIR cap reversed (face down on the bed).
Wiring is up to you, and there is both a PIR mount with the CPU case behind it on the wall, and a PIR mount to screw it straight into a wall.
I used this style of PIR motion sensor: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KZW86YR/
