This is a 'third hand' for an arbor press. It's a way to secure tooling to the end of the ram so you're free to hold the work with one hand and work the press with the other. It helps keep fingers out of danger too. Two versions are offered, for different size arbor press rams. There's a hole in the middle of each that will hold an M4 SHCS but you can drill it out for whatever size bolt you need. Just make sure the head of the bolt is held firmly against the bottom of the ram as you tighten the side screws to hold the Pal to the ram. That way all loads will be taken up by the press rather than the Pal.
