Wacom (and other similar drawing tablet brands) has had awful overpriced stands with little to no freedom or ergonomics. Artists are typically broke af or would never pay 70 dollars for a piece of plastic with 3 degrees to choose from.
I propose a slightly more ergonomic and cheap alternative. I present the Wackom, a stand that can be printed that uses fasteners obtainable from any hardware store or on amazon. If there is a library in your area with 3d printing services, you can print the parts there and only pay for the fasteners.
This is version 1. I wanted originally to have this attatched to a suspended stand like how DJs have laptop stands that suspend the laptop over their gear, but this can work standalone just fine. The "DJ stand" attachment is still being sketched out.
Fasteners:
- m5 machine screws
- m5 nuts
**I used m5 x 25mm, which is overkill, but I those were the only m5s I have at the moment, the m5s you get do not need to be that big in length.
